March to the beat! New members abound. Chapel resumes. Breezeway might get less breezy. Yard sale crazy! Green beer, banquets, and palms. Easter comes early. God story gets deep. Softball madness is Musick to my ears! These are a few of my favorite things! While we march through March, let us not get caught up in the things that compete for our allegiances. In the middle of Lent, some argue to be the most spiritual season of the year, we can needlessly march to the wrong beat…or a step off beat…or double time it. Remember to breath. Remember to be still. Remember that God is in control and we are not. It’s better that way. God won’t mess things up, rather He has a plan and it includes YOU! Let us mourn on Maundy Thursday; let us rejoice on Easter morning. The cup of suffering and the cup of joy will not pass from us; but one does not come without the other. Halt! Forward March…
