School has begun. My facebook has been flooded with adorable pictures of children’s first day alongside rants about car lines and lengthy waits to pick up kids. On the first day of school, our own church van took two hours to pick up our 15 after school kids. Our church is bustling busy with children, too. We’ve recently expanded space in our facility to absorb 25 children from a nearby preschool that closed. We are undergoing massive growing pains and our staff is diligent at working to meet these needs in our community. Since I’ve started here five years ago, our ministry to preschool students & families have expanded three times into new space. Our vision team confirmed that preschool ministry is our greatest success and greatest mission. Our budget is better than it has been in over five years. God is moving through us. We have our eyes on the future looking at breaking ground. I’m asking you to pray for this church. If we can promote Christ by serving our community, then God’s kingdom comes. Let us go the extra mile for those we serve. Let us love out loud. Let us be the church!
