May is here!  Can you imagine?  Summer plans are brewing, vacations being planned, activities for kids cusping at the brim.  We celebrate Mothers, Lost Soldiers, and the Church’s birthday.  Pentecost is May 20 and commemorates the birth of the church when the Holy Spirit caused the gospel to be heard in many different languages.  Three thousand people were baptized and became part of the covenant family called the church.  If you have been attending church for a while now and have yet to make that commitment to join, I encourage you to do so on Pentecost Sunday.  We already consider you family, why not make it official?  Meet with me sometime before May 20 to be oriented to the distinctions, roots, and current ministries of Presbyterian Church in the Highlands.    I look forward to having a cup of coffee with you!
